DCBE grows at steady paceMay 9, 2006The Dutch Chicago Business Exchange (DCBE) has since its inception in the fall of 2005 shown to be a welcome platform for Dutch-American related business activities. Monthly luncheons with presentations by speakers from various fields spark interaction between participants and are a great opportunity to network and form new business relationships. The DCBE has already proven to be a great vehicle for incoming business and government delegations from the Netherlands and has added to the exposure of the Netherland-America Foundation in Chicago. Events organized during these occassions give all parties involved great exposure to interested counterparts in Chicagoland and are an opportunity for getting acquainted with developments in the Netherlands as well as here in the Windy City.
The strong support from Dutch and American businesses for the mission of the Netherland-America Foundation has made it possible for the DCBE to grow at a steady pace and to create opportunities for making new connections as well as rekindle old relationships. It is the DCBE’s goal to support the mission of the NAF by being the premier meeting point for all Dutch-Chicago business related events and informing the business community on developments of interest to its membership and beyond.
The first anniversary in the fall of 2006 is fast approaching and the DCBE is currently working on celebrating this occassion with a suitable event. We are currently exploring possibilities and we hope that visit often. A Dutch-Chicago Economic Outlook Forum is one of our current options. Please make sure to check the website on a regular basis to find out or sign up for the DCBE newsletter so you won’t have to miss any upcoming events. |
